Back in 2020, during my National youth service (NYSC), i decided to learn a skill in addition to my Bachelor degree. I took up my phone and type "Hot and valuable skills one can venture into", I can't recall what other skill where in the list, but i was very sure programming was at number 2 of 5 skills listed. I made further research about it and how to get started. few days down the line i decided to begin with Python.
I started learning Python syntax via Youtube. i stumbled upon a video with tag "Introduction to Python for beginners", i went further to watch the series which comprises of about 70+ content with an average watch length of about 10 minutes.
After learning Python syntax, the big question surfaces, "what next?" "I'm a software developer now?" I made further research then discovered that i just learnt the syntax which is the foundation towards attaining software development status with the said programming language. I discovered that Python can be used for Data analysis, web development etc. Then the next question i asked myself "How do i go about using python to build web applications?" that question prompt me towards the knowledge of Flask and Django.
With some help of some Udemy classes and Freecodecamp tutorials i have gone further in achieving a higher level in Python and Javascript, Using Frameworks/Libary such as ReactJS, Django and ExpressJS.
